How far in advance should I book?
Reservations open 18 month ahead, with new dates released continuously. Peak seasons (e.g., Northern Lights, Holiday Season) book quickly - book 9 to 12 months early. -
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation is typically allowed up to 30 days before arrival. Policies vary by package - check your offer, our online booking site, or your booking confirmation for details. -
Do you offer group or corporate retreats?
Yes! Customized business retreats include tailored activities, dining, and logistics. Submit a request via email, and we’ll respond within 24 hours. -
What currency is used for payment?
Prices are in NOK (Norwegian Krone). Credit card payments are processed in NOK, with automatic currency conversion.

What room types are available?

Is the lodge child-friendly?
Children of all ages are welcome, but we recommend, especially in winter a minimum age of 12. Superior rooms best accommodate families. -
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not permitted due to wildlife safety and guest allergies.
GETTING HERE

How do I reach the lodge from Tromsø?
We provide transfers from Tromsø Airport, Tromsø City, Sørkjosen Airfield, or Skjervøy Hurtigruten Quay. The scenic 3-hour drive includes island ferry access. -
Where can I find the ferry timetable?
The ferry company Torghatten is operating the ferry from Rotsund to Uløybukt. Check the departures for your arrival date online. -
What if I miss the ferry schedule?
A secure mainland parking lot is available at Ravelseidet. For a 400 NOK fee, we provide private boat transfers - call us at least 1 hour before arrival. -
Is parking available?
Yes! Free on-site parking, including EV charging is available.

When is the best time to see the Northern Lights?
Peak visibility is October–March, with 200+ nights of potential displays. We offer guided Northern Light hikes & Northern Lights Safaris by boat and aurora alarms. -
What winter activities are included?
Packages feature: Dog sledding (autumn & winter), Visiting the reindeers, Whale safaris, mountain snowmobile tours, snowshoe trekking, Northern Lights safaris, Sámi storytelling, Visiting the reindeers -
Can I see whales year-round?
Whale watching runs late October–mid-January. Tours include warm gear, hot drinks, and expert guides. -
What’s available in summer?
Fjord cruises, Midnight sun boat tours, guided hikes. wildlife boat safaris, deep sea fishing with skipper/guide.

Our restaurant serves Arctic-inspired cuisine (seafood, local game) with vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options. Breakfast includes local cheeses, juices, and other local specialties. -

Yes! Enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi, our sauna, and massage services. -
Do rooms have Wi-Fi?
Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available lodge wide.
